13a4d5c81c WIP - have added LightInject as a fast and tiny IoC container that is embedded. Have updated all required SingleObjectResolverBase and non lazy ManyObjectResolverBase to use a Container implementation. Have updated the boot managers to use IoC to instantiate all their requirements. This is so much nicer now by using IoC to ctor all of the objects in these resolvers we can get ctor injection OOTB so no more singletons. Need to create resolver to support the lazy resolver with IoC next. Updated IContentFinders, IThumbnailProviders to use ctor injection. 2015-01-21 12:48:08 +11:00

cc396c8b96 Removes more unecessary singletons and simplifies/refactors some internal parts like the ctors for the ServiceContext, DatabaseContext. No more RepositoryResolver or SqlSyntaxProvidersResolver these are entirely uncessary and complicate things. 2015-01-13 18:19:52 +11:00

defc9d3bc2 Updated all repo's to have their correct ctor's with their correct dependencies. Updated them all to accept ILogger updated all other dependencies with the same without breaking anything since all is internal, or obsoleted other public methods. Updates lots of the tests with mock instances instead, now more tests have less singleton dependencies, easier to test, much clearer and more IoC driven. Updated unit tests to supply the ILogger for required objects, tests should run faster now since most things are just mocked. 2015-01-09 10:51:15 +11:00

519b06fe30 Moves logging interface to Logging namespace called ILogger, creates a resolver for it, updates the boot process to ensure it exists first and anything during the boot process that is logging ensures that if it is not resolved that it logs elsewhere. Wraps LogHelper to use the ILogger based on the resolver. Updates all services that used LogHelper to have an ILogger injected into them. This is really only the start, there's a ton of places that use LogHelper (508) other places so we'll need to start looking at changing those over. All base classes will need to expose an Ilogger so people can use that. 2015-01-07 17:23:24 +11:00

c3523a09ec WIP WIP WIP. Started working on U4-5648 which led to quite a lot of other things, once IDataType was removed (U4-5858), this lead to U4-5546, U4-5416, U4-5484, U4-5805. So much of this stuff is etched deep into the codebase, so nice to get rid of it. Had to remove the codefirst tests too for now since they relied on old apis and we don't really support it/use it. Commented out all of the code relating to the document type editor UI bits since they need to be rewritten and removed. 2014-11-21 16:34:47 +11:00

3708b0de65 Got value editors being able to handle 'object' not just string so we can post and return json structures directly to the angular editors, got the multiple drop down list working and saving data. 388f55d7fd Moved application logic into Core which are now 'Sections'. Have proxied all calls from the legacy application to sections. Streamlined how automapper configs are registered (much better now). Updated some unit tests to use the new classes instead of the legacy ones. Created the sections controller to return the sections from the back office. Changed the TypeFinder to search all types not just public ones, changed the boot managers to not have to explicitly modify the resolvers with internal types because now internal types are automatically found. 2013-07-01 14:23:56 +10:00

24111c52f2 Obsoleted umbraco.businesslogic.ApplicationTree, have moved logic and new classes to core and proxied calls from it to the new ones. The new ApplicationTreeCollection will be the runtime colleciton of trees which can also read/write/save to the xml. 2013-06-20 10:05:51 +10:00
